Services and Products
What services does ILC offer?
We provide reservation services for over 100 hotels and suite hotels throughout Spain, as well as hotels, suite hotels, and the Pousadas throughout Portugal.

We also provide property rentals in the Marbella and Estepona areas of the Costa del Sol in southern Spain.

What type of hotels and suite hotels does ILC represent?
The hotels and suite hotels range from newly constructed, contemporary-style hotels to converted monasteries, palaces, convents, and other historic buildings, some of which date back to the 15th century.

What is the rating of the hotels and suite hotels that ILC represents?
Most of our hotels are rated 4 or 5 stars, while the suite hotels are rated 3 keys. This rating system is based upon the government's rating system, and not our own. For hotels, the scale is based on 1 to 5 stars (5 stars is the highest hotel rating). For suite hotels, the scale is based on 1 to 4 keys (4 keys is the highest suite hotel rating).

What is a suite hotel?
A suite hotel, or "aparthotel" or "apartamentos" as they are known in Spain, are hotels that offer units that are typically larger than a standard hotel room, and usually have a kitchenette. They are similar to the Marriott Residence Inns and Embassy Suites hotels found in the United States. Suite hotels are suitable for all types of travelers, and can be especially desirable for clients who want or need additional space, or may want cooking facilities.

What types of units does a suite hotel offer?
Even though the types of units a suite hotel offers will vary from property to property, the following units are representative for most suite hotels:

Studio - similar to a standard hotel room, with a bathroom and kitchenette

1 bedroom suite - has a separate bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchenette

2 bedroom suite - has two separate bedrooms, living room, one or two bathrooms, and kitchenette

A kitchenette is typically equipped with basic dishes, pots and pans, a small refrigerator and a stove or counter top burners. What is included in a kitchenette varies from property to property, so please check the description of the specific suite hotel to determine exactly how the kitchenette is equipped.

Since suite hotels often cater to extended stay clients, some may offer discounts for stays of 7 consecutive nights or longer. Check the suite hotel's Rates page for the availability of extended stay rates.

What is a rental property?
A rental property is a privately owned property, such as a condominium (condo), a townhouse, or a villa that is offered for rent on a short-term basis (1 week or longer).

What types of rental units are available?
The following are the different types of rental units available:

Apartment - a unit in a multi-unit, high-rise style building (usually taller than three stories). The units in the building share one (or more) pools for the building.

Townhouse or Condo - a unit in a multi-unit development (usually not taller than three stories). The units in the development share one (or more) pools for the development.

Villa - a stand-alone, detached home with its own private pool.

What does a rental property include?
In addition to the general amenities of the property, all rentals are also equipped with the basics, such as linens, towels, and sheets, so you do not have to provide any these items. You will, however, have to provide incidentals, such as food, toiletries, and other disposable items that you will need during your stay.
