Do I have to prepay ILC for my hotel or suite hotel reservation?
No. You do not have to pay for your hotel or suite hotel reservation in advance for the majority of reservations. You pay the hotel or suite hotel at check-out. Only a credit card guarantee is required in order to process your reservation request. Your credit card will not be charged for your stay; it will only be charged in the event that you fail to comply with the stipulated cancellation policy, such as not canceling the reservation before the specified number of days, or if you do not show up at the hotel or suite hotel on the date you reserved.

However, some hotels may require prepayment during certain times of the year (for example, during Holy Week, April Fair in Seville, at New Years, etc.). For additional information please refer to the Special Conditions section on the property's Rates page.

What do you mean by a "credit card guarantee"?
You do not have to prepay your hotel or suite hotel stay when you make a reservation through us. However, to ensure that the terms of the reservation you make through us will be honored, we, as well as the hotel or suite hotel, ask for a credit card number to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will not be charged for your stay; you will pay the hotel at check-out.

In the event that you fail to comply with the stipulated cancellation policy, such as not canceling the reservation before the specified number of days, or if you do not show up at the hotel or suite hotel on the date you reserved, the hotel or suite hotel is authorized to charge a penalty to your credit card. The cancellation penalty is typically the price of one night at the hotel or suite hotel, plus tax, but this may vary by hotel. Will you charge the credit card I've given you to guarantee my reservation before I arrive?
No. The credit card you provide us to guarantee your reservation will not be charged for your stay. You will pay the hotel or suite hotel directly when you check-out. Your credit card will only be charged in the event that you fail to comply with the stipulated cancellation policy, such as not canceling the reservation before the specified number of days, or if you do not show up at the hotel or suite hotel on the date you reserved. If a hotel requires prepayment for a reservation, as outlined in the Special Conditions section on the property's Rates page, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of the reservation when your reservation is confirmed, in advance of your actual stay at the hotel.

Why do some reservations have to be prepaid?
Some hotels may require payment in advance during certain times of the year, for example, during peak periods like Holy Week, April Fair in Seville, at New Years, etc., or for special promotional offers. To determine if a hotel requires prepayment, please refer to the Special Conditions section on the property's Rates page.

If the reservation you are requesting requires prepayment, the credit card you provide when submitting your request will be charged when your reservation is confirmed, in advance of your actual stay at the hotel. The refund of any unused portion of a prepaid reservation is subject to the terms outlined in the Special Conditions section on the property's Rates page.

Can I choose to prepay my hotel or suite hotel reservation?
No. Prepayment is not accepted for hotel or suite hotel reservations, unless it is specifically required for the reservation. You will pay the hotel at check-out.

How do I pay for my hotel or suite hotel stay?
You will pay the hotel or suite hotel directly in local currency (Euros), traveler's check, or by credit card when you check-out. Most hotels accept major credit cards, such as American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, and Visa. The Discover Card is not widely accepted outside of the US, and therefore will not be accepted.

Why can't I use my Discover Card to guarantee my reservation?
The Discover Card is not widely accepted outside of the US, and therefore can not be used to guarantee a reservation. The credit card you use to guarantee your reservation must be one of the cards that are accepted by the hotels, such as American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, and Visa.
