Founded by Spaniards in 1983, International Lodging Corporation (ILC) is a New York City based company that specializes in representing hotels and suite hotels in Spain. In addition to providing central reservation services to our hotels and suite hotels, we also offer advertising, marketing, and consulting services to the hotels and suite hotels we represent. Today we represent over 100 hotels and suite hotels throughout Spain. Our product line does not end with hotels and suite hotels, as we also offer a wide variety of property rentals in the Marbella and Estepona areas of the Costa del Sol.
Long before the internet put information at our fingertips, we were drawing from our extensive knowledge of not only the people and culture of Spain, but also from our many years of experience in servicing the needs of the North American traveler. This experience has allowed us to provide our clients with top quality accommodations and excellent customer service.
This odyssey has often gained the attention of national newspapers and magazines. The company has been mentioned in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Star-Ledger, Travel & Leisure Magazine, Travel World News, Recommend Magazine, Travel Weekly Magazine, Smart Money Magazine, Family Travel Times, and the Wall Street Journal.
In the travel book, Guide to Vacation Rentals in Europe, by Michael and Laura Murphy, the authors write, "This company [ILC] is a well-managed company that knows its specialty: Spain." International Lodging has also been listed in Birnbaum's Spain, Fodor's Spain, and Frommer's Spain.
We are proud to be listed with the Tourist Offices of Spain located throughout the United States and Canada, and also the Spanish Consulates. We were honored in 1994 by ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents), which selected eight of the company's hotels and suite hotels as official Pre & Post Tour properties for the 1994 Lisbon World Travel Congress.

We take great care in selecting properties that we know will meet discriminating travelers' needs. We work with rental companies that not only rent but also manage the properties they offer for rent, to provide a continuous relationship with the property. The local management companies are staffed with English-speaking staff who live in the area, and are available at any time in the event of an emergency during your stay. Since they live in the area, the staff can also provide you with local information, such as restaurants, shops, and favorite places to visit, etc., which can add a special dimension to your rental experience. Rental properties must be pre-paid in advance by check and require a security deposit.
